Finally Catching Up

String Bean's first birthday was about 48 weeks ago. She got this really cute dress from our babysitter, Lexie. It was a 12 month size corduroy jumper. Just today we were finally able to let her wear it since it finally fits. String Bean is finally catching up to last year's wardrobe. (Although she did wear a pair of newborn size shorts last week.) At 23 months, the 12 month clothes actually fit.

Now to see if she hits the weight requirement to turn her carseat around at her 2 year appointment. Most kids hit that weight milestone before their first birthday.

Yeah, we've had the opposite dilemma. Ladybug was heavy enough at her 4 MONTH check up to graduate from the infant carrier. Thankfully we another seat that could sit rear-facing until her 1st birthday. And fortunately for our wallets, her growing has slowed. She can still wear some of the same clothes that she was wearing this time last year.

Just goes to show you that every kid is different and that it is okay!

Our dd2 finally hit twenty pounds at her two year check up! And topped that off at a whopping 25 pounds for her three year check up! :-P
